In her leadership role as the VP of Performance Excellence at National Express LLC, she is responsible for spearheading Operational Excellence programs across the organization. When she took this role in 2015, the journey started with a focus on standardization of processes and tools, leadership training to improve effectiveness and building a culture of excellence to achieve company vision and strategic objectives. She led the organization through the Illinois Performance Excellence (Malcolm Baldrige) application resulting in bronze awards two years consecutively. Prior to this role, she worked with the Maintenance organization to optimize processes, implement best practices and develop tools to measure metrics as the VP of Maintenance Process and Analytics. She has over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in insurance, retail, manufacturing and services industries. Mathy has a MBA in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Oklahoma State University. She and her husband have three children pursuing various Engineering disciplines.
