Liz IversenSenior Vice President, Chief Quality & Regulatory Officer
Liz Iversen is the Chief Quality Officer for Philips. She joined Philips in December 2014 and holds global executive responsibility and accountability to provide strategic direction, policy, and oversight for quality and regulatory compliance across Royal Philips, with a direct reporting line into the Chief Executive Officer. Liz has a proven record of leadership as well as a strong track record of building sustainable, global, high-performance organizations across multiple industries; including aerospace and defense, pharmaceuticals, medical device and diagnostics, financial services, information technology, and consulting. She has demonstrated leadership and expertise in quality and compliance, operations management, supply chain management, general management (P/L), and operational excellence. Prior to joining Philips, Liz was Vice President, Global Product Development Quality, North America Quality & Chief Risk Officer at General Motors Corporation where she had executive responsibility and accountability for global product development quality, North America regional quality, and enterprise risk management. Prior to General Motors, she held leadership positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, and GE Capital Railcar Services. Liz is a graduate of Iowa State University. She has participated in the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, was part of the Global Leaders Program at Smith–Tuck, and the Human Resource Executive Development Program at Cornell University. She is a Lean Practitioner with the Lean Enterprise Institute, a Lean Leader from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Six Sigma Quality Leader, Master Black Belt, and DFSS Master Black Belt from her experience with GE. Liz and her husband have three children and three grandchildren.
